Screening at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghents

Mew Lab are pleased to announce that “Lady and the tooth” has recently been screened at The Royal Academy of Fine Arts (KASK) in Belgium. “Lady and the tooth” was chosen by the students from the film course at the School of Arts KASK as one of the five most interesting films shown at this year Clermont Ferrand film festival. The screening took place on the 22nd April to a audience of Filmmakers, film tutors and students.

At regular intervals KASK cinema organizes special screenings and events like the night of cinema. KASK cinema screens a broad perspective of films and regularly present lectures, readings, debates, master classes inviting  artists, writers, dramatists and musicians to attend.  KASK cinema is an initiative of Forum K vzw and the School of Arts of the University of Ghent. The operation of KASK cinema is supported by the Flemish Community and the city of Ghent


BeThere Corfu Animation Festival

Lady and the Tooth has been selected for the main competition at BeThere! Corfu Animation Festival . Mew Lab attended the festival, enjoying the retrospective talks and short film screenings and features.

BeThere! Corfu Animation Festival is the new international animation festival in Corfu, the capital of the Ionian Islands. The festival aims to constitute a meeting point for animation artists from all over the world

The objective of Be There! Corfu Animation Festival is to treat animation works with professionalism, and total respect for the creative effort that accompanies the 8th art. It also aims to educate (an essential that has conditioned the art of animation), and its various festival activities relate equally to children, adults, visitors, institutions, and all those with an eye to learning and experiencing through art.

Be There! Corfu Animation Festival is a four-day celebration of animation, but does not forget to advertise art and artistic merit in all its forms, combined with an educational glance and a time for entertainment.
